Why didn't I get a Sample Ballot?
What's "no Endorsement" for SoWashCo election & levy?

DFL SD47 mails a "Sample Ballot" usually 30 days before an Election. This is REALLY POPULAR with voters. We list NAME, POSITION & PHOTO of Endorsed Candidates, along with links WHERE/WHEN to vote.

How do we choose the top candidates that are on the postcard?  We set up an Endorsement or Letter of Support process - to interview, vet and vote on the best choices.

After Census and Redistricting, in  2023 SoWashCo ISD833 schools voting area crosses two DFL  Congressional Districts, so CD2 and CD4 committees had jursidiction to jointly form the group to vet and endorse. CD4 didn't have quorum to conduct business. CD2 tabled the motion. After 6 months of effort, SD47 has tabled the motion to form an Endorsement / Sample Ballot. Then CD2 set up a Letter of Support process. No candidates from ISD833 applied by the Aug 20, 2023 deadline.
